Wired Monitoring

Optional serial-output display circuit boards are wired one to the next and back to an interface that is connected to the facility’s Ethernet or to a USB port on a personal computer. Data is transmitted according to the Modbus RTU protocol over an RS485 network. Where many meters are involved, wiring is greatly reduced as compared with wiring the milliamp output of each meter to a PLC.
